Drysdale won't be there at 7.
Penguins decline. They don't have to pay to move Bjugstad.

Id rather Jake tbh... Drysdale is overrated as hell because of his wj performance while Sanderson is underrated because people tend to consider pp dmen as better player as defensive dmen. Plus, Sanderson offensive potentiel is great as well.

Nah Sanderson doesn’t have a great offensive potential but he has some. Just not great

Drysdale actually isn't that overated. The thing about him is he is young right handed defenseman who can play 2-way game. Not to say Sanderson ain't great but he is a left defense man and the NHL has tonnes of those. The especially ones who can play a 2way game like Drysdale are rare. The good news about this draft is other than Drysdale there more are 2way rhd including Schneider. So it's not that one is overated and one is underated it's the fact the league has a shortage of good rhd that draws teams to Drysdale. Which is why there is the potential for Ottawa to select him 3rd or Detroit to take him 4th

He is a good shutdown guy and could be a good pairing for an offensive dman. Rangers could look at pairing him with DeAngelo if they choose to grab him

Getting a RHD like Drysdale would be great, but I think this is a bit too much to give up. I’d rather get Quinn/Holtz at 9 and take a RHD at 39/40.

Bjug has value. Granlund prolly won’t sign a one year deal. If he does it will be with a contending team not one that promises to send him to a contending team at the deadline

This doesn't make sense to me.
First, I don't think either Dman will drop that far in the draft.
Second, why would Mtl trade up 2 spots (losing a second rounder) to get a Dman they prefer when both are highly touted? If you want a dman and have the later pick, it's kind of easy to let the other team make the decision for you. Moving up would make sense if one of the 2 Dmen were already drafted.
(Although I prefer Sanderson, I'm 100% certain MB would draft Drysdale if he had to pick between the two)

Don't see Drysdale slipping to #7 Ottawa probably takes him at #5 if Detroit doesn't take him at #4.

And hou probably aren’t aware that Montreal have 4 very good lefthanded prospect but have not a real
Right handed prospect that will be impactful. That why you don’t understant. Next

not worth it for Habs to move up two spots, they can take Quinn at #9, or Laf at #1. You can hit the jackpot with a 2nd rounder, Weber, Bergeron, Romanov, DeBrincat...

It worth it absolutely to get Drysdale i move up any time. Montreal still have 2 other second round pick. Its clearly worth it if you get the players you really want. Quinn ain’t in the same category of Drysdale.
