Sabres decline, also Hall is not signing that cheap.

Agreed on the buffalo trade, the values are close for sure. Two seconds for Anderson seems steep though given his injury history and the fact he's had like one good season.

Flat cap is gonna be mayhem for fa's this fall, he might have to take less or a shorter term

Dont overpay for Anderson. I would just run Backlund at 2C and draft Holtz/Lundell/Raymond/Rossi (whichever of these 4 are available at #8) then semi rebuild around the 2 early draft picks

In Calgary yes he would, that might even be on the high side of what he can get with the flat cap

Again 2 years of JG isn’t great value for Buf with giving up anything significant. And Cal shouldn’t trade him for anything less. Not gonna work.

It doesn’t make sense to trade Buffalos best RHD for a position they don’t need. They have Skinner and Olofsson to play first line LW.

Maybe I'm totally out to lunch, but with the talk he might take a little less in order to wind up in a good spot, I could see Hall signing for somewhere in the 7's.

I think 7.75 x 7 and an NTC for 5 years is definitely a deal he would do if its front loaded

If you want three years of Anderson, he's going to demand more cash than that. And if you want to acquire him for picks, you can go high, or you can offer sheet him. Two 2nds might be something like fair market value, but we don't want to trade him for that - we want to keep him and get him back to his old self.
