Description
Showing their depth in this also. This would leave them with extra cap room to make deadline moves and have cap space to sign their UFAs for the coming years.

I have proposed that Buffalo trade before with mixed reviews from both sides.

Untouchable is a strong word. Very few players in the world fall in that category. Highly unlikely to be traded, sure. But untouchable....

Sure strong word, but Jokiharju and Dahlin were Buffalos best defenseman this year. I would imagine they are going to build the Blueline around those two.

If Jokiharju and the 8th overall pick is going to Toronto then something else decent has to be going to Buffalo along with Nylander.

He’s the least likely of the 4 RD Buffalo currently has to be traded. I think Miller is the one moved personally.

Miller played really well with Dahlin. If Buffalo doesn’t scratch him over Zach Bogosian they would be preparing for the Penguins right now.

Trading Jokiharju is a bad idea anyways. Personally I wouldn't consider him untouchable but I'd rather use him as a major part of the team instead of bouncing him off somewhere for spare parts.

OTT has no need for either of those players. I'll take Chabot, Wolanin and Borowiecki on our left side over Dermott, and OTT can just sign Connor Brown and/or Duclair to a comparable contract to Johnsson's which leaves him in our bottom 6 and we just have better options available to us without having to give up a pick.

It's the condition for resigning Clifford. (Should be a 2021 2nd for the 3rd) but I used the 2021 2nd for the offer sheet. Leafs only resign Clifford if they really really like him. Korshkov seems like he would be a good alternative.
