Bump it up into the 11 million range and the Islanders will still probably match but they’ll at least have to make some moves

Leddy can easily be moved for a mid-late rd pick . Clutterbuck can be bought out. That’s another 7.1 million in cap space in addition the 8.1 mill well have. That’s 15.2 mill. We’ll match almost anything

If Sakic wanted to do this trade he would have done it at the deadline. Easy pass, because Kaut on an ELC for the next 3 years is super valuable.

If you make it Jost + 2nd + pick/prospect I'll do it. Just leave Andersson out.

Awesome. I'm happy with that too. Rangers get 3 pretty solid pieces there along with some cap relief so I think it works pretty well for both teams. Fwiw I don't think Beaucage has the skating to truly be effective in Colorado's system, but he's nonetheless a pretty solid prospect with a very elite shot who carried the offense on his team this year, and I think he and Jost would do well with the Rangers.
