I don't think the Islanders will ever find success as a defense-first type of team. Best to unload those guys and focus on goals

I don't think he'll leave tbh. If he did, he'll probably let them ahead of time to maximize trade value and get him to a proven winner. I'm not sure if he'll get the captaincy elsewhere but I think a team like Columbus fits his style well, if they can ever manage to win a playoff game!
