CGY
  1. Lindblom, Oskar
  2. Sanheim, Travis
  3. 2021 2nd round pick (PHI)
PHI
  1. Gaudreau, Johnny
Additional Details:
I know some say that PHI would face backlash for trading Lindblom, but I think it would work out ok. Gaudreau would be a huge acquisition for the team, so it's not like they're just getting rid of Oskar. Besides, the Flames are a strong team, Calgary is a nice city, and the roster has plenty of Swedish compatriots, so I would expect Lindblom would be happy. I think all would be forgiven for the Philly front office.
2.
TOR
  1. Hanifin, Noah
  2. Zavgorodny, Dmitri
  3. 2020 1st round pick (CGY)
Additional Details:
Do I think the Leafs will trade Nylander? No. Do I think the Leafs should trade Nylander? No. But I want him, Burkie said they outta trade him, and I like this package for him. Also, paying huge premiums for right-handed d-men is a market inefficiency. Come on Dubas do it
3.
CGY
  1. Allen, Jake ($500,000 retained)
  2. Dunn, Vince [RFA Rights]
  3. 2020 4th round pick (STL)
STL
  1. Monahan, Sean
Additional Details:
Is this realistic? Eh. The idea is that the Blues can get a good asset while basically getting rid of the Allen contract. Adding Monahan means Bozak is expendable, but whether or not they could actually find a trade partner there is a different question.

Neither is Nylander, Bro. Softest P.O.S. the league has to offer. Useless.

I would love to see all the hate for Hanifin in TOR. It would be the 2nd coming of Jake Gardiner. Please do this trade!

That’s a horrible gaudreau trade, an ok Nylander trade and a horrible Monahan trade. Flames say no to 2/3s of the trades

Yeah, because maybe there's a moron GM out there who thinks he has value like you. By looking at all the pretty charts that show how much times he touches the puck. Get outta here. #EyeTest

First of all Hanifin is a leftie. Second of all I'd rather re-sign Gustafsson and find a goalie in FA than trade Monahan for Dunn and Allen. The Gaudreau trade is actually decent I guess? But only if they use the cap room to sign Hall and trade Hanifin to make room for Sanheim, one of which you didn't have them do and the other of which is only gonna happen cuz it's a massive overpay, not cuz Toronto actually wants a 2LHD.

Edit: thought it was a 1st. Gaudreau trade might have been close if it was, a 2nd won't cut it.

Carolina traded him at the perfect time, peak value. What a heist

Tf? Hes not even in his prime yet. That trade was fantastic for Calgary.

Never heard of Lindholm I guess. Maybe you shouldn't comment on things you don't understand because not a single Flames fan would undo that trade

I mean, lindholm can be good and not be worth enough to tilt the scale

Reason why the trade doesn't work for the Flyers:
1. Lindblom was leading our team in goals before he started his treatments.
2. Sanheim actually led the team at 5-on-5 ice time in gm 1 of the playoffs. We have been investing in our young defensemen, grooming them for the next step, and he (and Myers) are not going anywhere.
3. We have five (5) left wingers capable of playing top-6 minutes spanning all stages of the career (rookie to closing in on downward trend).
4. We have no (zero, none) cap space for another forward.

The only reason he is linked to the Flyers:
1. He is from South Jersey and liked the team growing up.

It's time to look for another team or (*checks notes*) keep him since he is actually good at hockey.

Hanifin shoots left... I think the idea is interesting but they'd probably want Andersson instead, least that's what I'd be pushing for if I was the leafs. Right handed Defenseman.

Hamilton literally doubled his point production from last year. He has a lot to prove that this year wasn't an outlier

And Hanifin doesn't work for Toronto so now the deal falls apart. The one piece from calgary the leafs would want is Andersson and I 100% agree the flames shouldn't and wouldn't do that so the leafs will take their business elsewhere.

Even without the point explosion the canes win pretty cleanly. D that flirt with 20 goals, put up 40+ points and are excellent defensive players are incredibly valuable
