MTL declines. they don't need RD and don't need a RFA who's probably going to get more than the 1.9M he makes now, need cap space next year so their big guys.

Never. Larsson is not much better than Ceci. Go look at his advance stats, they are dismal. He isn't good and has never been good. He was an early 1st round pick who had not done much and then was traded for Hall and has done nothing else. He is not good.

Honestly, nobody makes it on McD's line except for Drai. I mostly said it because we already got paid 2 2nds for AA, so why would we give one of those & LGD up to get him back? We could just as easily offer sheet him for a 2nd and keep LGD if we wanted him back (and usually when you trade someone away, you don't want them back lol)

You said more solid defense players, then why did you trade for Jack Johnson. Jack Johnson is one of the worst players in the league. Glendening isn't much better.

I dont know why EDM hasnt come for CBrown already. Built in chemistry with McDavid, great all situations play. Can play either wing up and down the lineup.

OTT accepts, and you dont retain anything on Nurse

Colorado accepts. Jost would be a good fit in Edmonton but would have to accept a 1st for him.

Btw with today's goal against Arizona Jost has now scored in 4 straight playoff games dating back to last year. The guy brings it with his work ethic when the games get tough, nice to see. Coach Bednar loves him.
