Carter is probably headed to Robidas island here, and there are cheaper options cap wise than De Haan, so Kings just pass I’d say.

Does a 1st even move seabrooke , I can't help but say no to carter, f that guy. Maata for zacha seems ok, not sure they need the center though.

i think the Kings would go for that. Checks all the boxes. Veteran LHD, two years remaining, can play big responsible minutes, reasonable cap hit, don't have to give up anything of value.

I like it.

If Carter were to get traded to the Hawks, I imagine the first thing he would do is knock out a couple of Keith's teeth at practice.

Overpay by about triple for Subban, he’s not a starter. Anderson is a fair deal but he’s old and if he doesn’t retire I feel like it’ll be with either the Sens or as a backup on a legitimate contender. Byfuglien I think is done mate, he gave up 14 mil, 1.5 isn’t gonna sway him.

As for the trades, Edmonton is looking for more for Pulju whether everyone else thinks he’s worth that or not lol. Calgary isn’t giving up the two best pieces in the deal, no chance that happens. Seabrook’s contract is atrocious, if one year of 6.25 was worth a 1st, 4 years of nearly 7 is gonna need at least 2 1sts and more to dump. Ottawa isn’t looking to take on 4 years anyway, all our rookies will be off ELCs by then.

he has a career .899 sv% at age 26 while playing on very good teams... He is barely an NHL backup

I wouldn't be surprised if Craig Anderson came back to Chicago for one last go around. Local guy who started his career with the Hawks, would kind of fit the Hawks' PR MO. I personally wouldn't do it tho because the Hawks already have enough backup goalies signed with Delia, Lankinen, and possibly Subban.
