Montour is bad.

Hornqvist has a no-trade clause. You are literally using cap friendly right now and should be able to see it.

Letang is top pairing D. Bear is below average. Puljujärvi projects to have third line level production in the NHL.

I don't mind this trade but it isn't enough of an incentive to move Domi. Probably take Domi + 3rd for 1st + Legare

I am not sure how you figure Montour is bad, he was terribly misused by Krueger.
Last year in the 20 game with Buffalo he was the Sabre defenseman with most points and lowest highest plus/minus.
This year he has the best plus/minus of ALL skaters and only Scandella had a better PDO.
BTW it appears all AGM have a poor opinion of the Sabre defense, but as a team only 8 team gave up fewer 5 on 5 goals.
All of them were playoff teams.
BTW none of the other 8 had a GK who played as poorly as Carter Hutton.
So, you are mistaken Montour is not bad, just misused.

Montour when he was traded to Buffalo. Did not help his team on either end of the ice. Talented player who can skate? Sure. Has never put it together.
