OTT
  1. Strome, Dylan [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Is Strome expendable now that Dach is establishing himself, and with Barratt as a potential top 9 C? CHI has great prospects at forward and d; this trade allows them to add some goalie prospect depth.
CHI
  1. Gustavsson, Filip
  2. Mandolese, Kevin

You’re super overvaluing Strome here imo. Not a chance Ottawa accepts, we have good C prospect/player depth already with Tierney/Brown/Norris/White/Pinto (add Byfield or Stutzle and potentially another C prospect from the first 2 rounds to the mix) there’s no reason to gut our goalie depth by giving up 2 promising prospects AND a 1st AND a 3rd for a 2/3C we don’t need

I don't think those goalie prospects are big enough upgrades (if at all) over Lankinen, Nalimov, or Delia for CHI to be interested. The NYI 1st + prospect is a good basis though.

Yeah, I mean deal is fine, but you guys dont need him. You are gonna get similar production out of White and you still have Norris and Pinto developing while you could potentially land Byfield in the draft if the Kings decide to take Stutzle

Love the trade for Chicago, but I can't see Ottawa doing it. They're gonna be loaded down the middle with the guys they've got coming up. No need to overpay for a piece that will ultimately be superfluous

I remember when PIT fans were saying Gus was the next Carey Price because of one tourney. Remember those days? I also think OTT doesn't do this trade, BUT IMO they do need to get more than just 20 year olds. I personally think OTTs at risk of losing propsects specifically the ones at UND because they have sooo many picks.

OTT decline, rather just develop the pick and prospects
