Bogosian has been the best free agent singing of the year

Description
How good has BOGO been! That hip surgery he has need for years has totally rejuvenated him, and playing with a stud and deep d core like Hedman and the boys has been exactly what he has need to play his shut down game, just like Luke Schenn and not relied on to be the “guy”!

Anyways Tampa’s winning the cup this year and next year they’re going to have to trade away a lot of depth for cheap to resign young core so short bridge deals to stay a cup contender again. Players should waive their NTC after having a ring, and players should resign on a deal like most players have in Tampa because of no state tax.

Palat is solid but he's a left shot, Sharks are desperate for right shot wingers and maybe a right shot 3C.

I’d love palat. Putting him with Hertl could make a Czech power line

That’s what I was thinking he’s good on the right half wall on the PP too

I would love Palat in SJ but his contract negates a 1st round pick return. A 2nd in 2020 would be fine but a 1st is an overpayment.

Would maybe do the TB 1st + Sorensen for Palat and DET 4th. That contract is just a lot of money for a 2nd line player in this flat cap world and he’s not a RH shot like the Sharks need.

You want a third line center prospect and an early 2nd for an overpaid bottom six winger (Long term) and a bottom six prospect?

I'm confused by the theory that in a paroxysm of joy after having won the Stanley Cup, guys will waive their NTC's in order to be sent elsewhere (and almost certainly a more expensive elsewhere), presumably to a weaker team. I would have thought that each of those players would want to stay with their best chance at a second Cup.

You say Bogo is the best free agent signing but the best UFA signing is another guy on the team. KEVIN SHATTENKIRK has been a monster for Tampa and no one is talking about him. He's playing on a 1 year deal WAY below market value and has been their 2nd best defenceman all year.

We can't afford to pay that much for Palat.
