Sneak the sheet

Created by: TheOtherAuston
Team: 2020-21 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 10, 2020
Published: Sep. 10, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Philly has 8.9 mill in cap space with a 15 man roster so 8 spots to fill. I think Myers will be a sneaky pick for the offersheet this year.

During the last lockout in 2012, I had the pleasure of watching the Mississippi River Kings play in the SPHL. I'm sure Engvall would fit right in.

I was honestly hoping a comment like this would be first.

Lmao, Phil Myers is not worth anywhere near that much. The Flyers take the picks and let you keep him

I'm pretty sure a lot of Philly fans value him very highly if it takes less than great.

But Im guessing you only looked at the offersheet AAV and not cap AAV shows 8.7 but it's actually only 7.25

My god 7.25M for MYERS? I'd give him no more than 4.25, and even at that I think it would be a bit much

That works too, I was just avoiding the "he will get way more" and slightly over guesstimated I guess

I don't understand Leaf fans obsession with trading Justin Holl to the Jets... I know they need defense, but they don't need Tucker Poolman 2.0.

Far too much for Phillips Myers. Anything over the 4.2m threshold would probably be god reason to move him.

I'm not saying it's just you... but I've probably seen it at least two dozen times in the last few weeks.

I was thinking over 4-5 years. Not sure if maybe Philly doesn’t match for that much term. But yes. Much better value for the leafs.

Looking at it now it's not enough for Pitt but I wasn't sure what else to add

    They need a 3C or 3RD, especially if they're trading their 3C. They don't need a goalie

I just don't see a fit. Kerfoot isn't any more of an effective 3C than McCann, and unless Toronto is willing to send the 1st back I think they get beat by other teams bidding on Murray

Maybe, I just don't see a first being used on a goalie this year with so many available.
