Can’t we just bin Stamkos for Tatar and Danault, can’t see Tatar being interesting for Tampa

Stamkos isn't leaving Tampa for Montreal, And Detroit's not giving up a 3rd for 1 year of Johnson Detroit will probably trade Ernes RFA rights back to Tampa instead.

I would say for the detroit trade switch it to Winnipeg as they are in desperate need of a 2c.

Im not sure the montreal trade works, i love stamko's, tried trading him to the wild i mean what are they going to do at 1c let alone 2c, Ek? So i figured perfect fit if stamkos goes. They went nuts about him being washed up (whatever) but mainly the salary is an issue. I don't think Montreal's taking all that money on and giving you a pick in this years financial state. Maybe if he changed his name pronounciatiom to something more french 🇨🇦.

I'm pretty high on Liljegren (and he's our only close to NHL capable RD) - I think the Leafs try an offer sheet first, so they only have to give up futures to get Cernak. Liljegren might be an important piece coming up for the Leafs if he continues to develop like he has been.

I think a lot of people are down on him and I don't understand why - he's only 21 and the skill set is there.

I'm not saying TB should trade for Tatar but he has scored 20+ goals in every season but his first.

Still pisses me off that he had a goal disallowed in one of the last games of his rookie season. Should have been twenty in every season.
