TBL can't take the cap.

Switch Campbell with Ian Scott and I'm listening. Hawks don't want Jackie.

MTL isn't doing that trade.

Tampa's trying to clear cap space. The Hawks would need to give Boqvist

Leafs need a defenseman who can play with Rielly not one struggling to stay in the NHL like Maatta.

Hawks aren't moving him, but Ottawa has a ton of assets so I'm curious what you think an offer would be for Cat from Ottawa?

Lightning would prefer clearing cap space to sign Cirelli, Cernak and Sergachev rather than take on a 6M hit liek Debricat's. From the posts I see TB fans are willing to part with Johnson, Gourde, and Killorn. I wonder if there's a package deal to made, Johnson/Sergachev or Cernak RFA rights for Strome and+? I'm not really good at trade values.
One can always try to get Sergachev with an offer sheet of 4x6M, TBL has a hard time matching it because they need to move salary out but they might-and it lowers the price on their NTC players. I also think he gets about a 4 yr deal, then he gets a bite of the UFA apple at about age 26 right when the cap should be rising.

If Tampa is moving Sergachev, it will not be to take on a likely higher cap hit in Dcat (my guess is Sergachev signs 2-3 years for 5 million per give or take 500K). Because Hedman and McDonagh are locked in on the LD side at big bucks, I could see them moving Sergachev, but think that would be way more likely in some combo of attaching one of their mid range forward contracts (Palat, Killorn, Johnson, or Gourde) &/or getting a ELC or great bargain deal back. I could see something like Sergachev plus one of the 4 above for something like Strome & Beaudin. Hawks may be a team capable of getting one of those 4 to waive their no trades which is also a factor in such a move.
