Blues decline. Just extended Schenn this season, not trading him and Petro's rights for Laine. They already have 10 locked up and the ideal situation is to sign 27, they're not going to trade both of them away to acquire Laine and lose 2 pieces when at worst they only lose one of them.

Laine for Werenski is very fair. Laine for Ekblad is also fair

The values are all over the place. Some are way over, some are way under. There are one or two that might be close.

If we were actually moving Laine, to the Kings for 2 OA + would be my preferred return of the above offers but I'd work on different pieces than Matt Roy.

I personally don't really want Werenski as I really like what we have coming on LD.

Laine for Ekblad isn't listed on here but that would also be high on the list for me.

I saw this vid too, and I know that these came from his comments but I really think he should have addressed them from the POV of the non-WPG team more, specifically in Calgary’s case. Calgary isn’t trading either of those guys at all, it just doesn’t make any sense. The trade would be based around Monahan+Hamonic’s rights+more (probably a 1st or 2nd plus Kylington or something along those lines).

Canes don’t do that either

Montreal does this in a heart beat. Laine is an RFA after this year. It is Winnipeg that would say no deal.

Sorry, Columbus is keeping Werenski, he’s too important to the team to trade him.

Read MB comments clearly stated not interested in unloading the 1st rounder for 1 year of service, now if he could lock up Laine on a contract then it would get done
