I don't think BUF will do that trade. As a Hawks fan, I would not do that PIT trade. As for TBL...this is different for sure. They're up against it. TJ would have approve coming here though. Not 100% sure he'd do that. Also, 100% against signing Holtby. Would rather have Crow.

Why? Just gonna trot out the same team that finished last in the central again?

I think icing the youngest team in the Central and one of the youngest in the entire NHL has a little bit to do with this. Develop the talent.

BUF would laugh at that offer. No one will be giving a 1st for Saad, let alone of future #1 goalie

I don't think any of these moves make the hawks better really, Saad probably doesn't fetch that, and I'm really not open to moving Kampf.

Saad is gonna get a 1st if he's traded. He plays a very good game and his value is a trade deadline target. I will admit that Buffalo (unless he signs a dirt cheap extension) is not a good fit because they aren't contenders.

However a guy who paced in a full 82 game season for 30 goals and 45 points while playing very well defensively and has two Stanley Cup rings worth of experience and another run where he went to game 7 of the conference finals; is worth a lot to a contender. Granted, Chicago may have to retain 50% of his salary but he will definitely get a very good return.

Also I forgot to mention that all of Saad's production is at even strength

Plus Saad is one of the top 20 two way wingers in the game and a first line PK player. To think Saad won't get a first is asinine

It's funny because last season people were talking about Kreider getting two 1sts and he's easily a worse player than Saad. But then Saad is a cap dump

I would pass if I was Pittsburgh. The slight upgrade in playmaking that Strome has really comes off as a wash when you consider McCann's defensive and PK impact.
