One little nit picky thing is that Simone did not get a QO so the Pens don’t own his rights anymore

it's not bad.
I don't think they are signing a 3RD though. Promises made are promises kept in the world of NCAA free agents. Maniscalco is getting a chance to play.
Calling it now.

He didn't get a QO because they don't want to go to arbitration. But coming off shoulder surgery. I'm not sure he's gonna have many contracts out there other than the 2 way deal one the penguins give him to make sure he heals.

Wild decline! Simon is UFA and Murray + Aston-Reese is nowhere near the value of Dumba + Kähkönen. I almost threw up when I saw that trade.

Minnesota declines, VAN can't afford Dumba they're already trying to resign both Markstrom and Toffoli plus trying to get Ekman-Larsson as well. I guess Dumba would be a plan b move if Benning fails to get Ekman-Larsson.

Dumba alone carries more value than the package MIN is receiving. They do absolutely nothing with that load of players they're receiving.

We'll take this trade and Dumba, AZ can keep OEL. We'll find the cap space to do this.

This is bad but I think Minnesota could acquire Murray.

It’s been reported that the Wild are not interested in Murray, but it might just be posturing...who knows?

Always something about Fleury to Minnesota too.
Would you give 4th rounder for his full cap hit?

No. I would expect them to give me a 1st to take him.

Vancouver doesn't need OEL. How is this a thing?! OEL only wants to go to Vancouver! Read the news. The Canucks wont give up assets for OEL as they cant fit him in their salary cap without letting Marky, Toffoli, etc walk. They rather keep their players for free than give up assets!

I dont know why this is so confusing for non Canucks fans. Geez

Thanks, That would be HUGE if he could come in and play at that #3 RHD spot.

I look at VAN Def Roster and I think they need a RHD ?? more than another LHD

I don't know if he can or can't. He was a stud at AZ. But given the going rate of defense men, lack of cap, and other team needs. I see this happening.
