I think value is fair tbh.. but I think Leafs add something. Like mid-round pick or prospect or something for that retention.

Value is purely subjective, it depends on the state of the team. This move doesn't help our rebuild, when we theoretically should be able to move murphy for decent futures.

With the Saad trade yesterday I cant say with certainty if this trade would happen, but it doesn't make sense for us to do.
