Canucks if they want to sign Pettersson and Hughes to long term deals. Having 3 guys on 8 figure contracts isn't a good way to build a contender.

Kings decline. They aren’t giving a first, 2 top prospects and doughty for 3 bad contracts and a player who might not play in the NHL ever again. As much as Doughty sucks it could be attributed to the team and he is still a leader.

I love how one agm trades doughty for marner and the other trades him + prospects + picks for Vancouver’s cap dumps. Found it interesting that some kings fans still declined the marner deal lol.

Marner got overpaid, and all those other other players had more complete games and thus arent measured as much by points

Hughes was the no. 1 Dman for Vancouver. His impact on the game, including defense, was exceptional for the Canucks.
