Doughty's just too mediocre, his contract too huge for him to be a part of a deal like this... Dubas knows he's not overly good & LA don't retain for 7 years

Honestly hard to think of what he could be used for

Maybe Ottawa are dumb & desperate enough to try and legitimize their team after a humbling few years (?) but even then there's limits to their malarkey

woof, yeah, no. that's not happening from toronto's end. Doughty's pretty darn bad now and is terrible value at 75% retained. Throw in Kopitar's ageing contract and noooooooope
