For Edmonton I think it may be Kahun, or maybe Turris. But then there’s Barrie as well. It’s definitely a hard pick.

I can see kahun getting near the 50 point mark with Drai as his center

Studnicka isn't guaranteed to have a spot so I'm going with Kase. Bjork/Lauzon as 2nd options.

Oh definitely! 20-30 goals too. Turris may have a 40-50 point season too, same as Barrie.

Studs may get the shot on the top line with pasta out so I'm going with the scenario he does

For toronto, I could really see sandin breaking out, as well as maybe robertson if he earns a spot out of camp...
another guy i could see is Vesey. If he puts his mind to it he could end up being a steal.

Not a bad pick for NSH, but I think I'd go with Saros -- he may be the full-on starter next season for the first time in his career, so he could really take the reigns of NSH this season. He's been good so far in his career, but this coming season could be his big coming out party.

Ottawa Senators

Abramov likely starts in Belleville, Balcers is the breakout guy, maybe Colin White.

Well, he was on pace to get 44 with McCann as his center, so that might be a low-ball. But don't sleep on Yamamoto: 26 points in 27 games last year point to good things possibly coming for this young man. Again, I think 50 points could be a low estimate for Yamamoto.

Another dark horse breakout candidate: Jesse Puljujarvi. If he can win the 1RW spot from Zack Kassian he could put up 50 too. When he played with McDavid as a 19-year-old they put up a sick 61.9 GF% together.

I like gambrell but he’s got so much competition to make the nhl roster I don’t think he even makes the squad. A more likely breakout candidate for the sharks would be;

Donato
Handemark
Meier (if you can count a rebound as he’s already had a breakout)
Merkley (if he surprises in camp although he should get AHL time)
Dubnyk/ Jones = if they put up above .900 or just .900 that’s a breakout lmfao

Fair point, so some are potential "bursting onto the scene" players
