I don’t mind Panik, but it makes better sense to let the prospects play, and Peca is a cheaper healthy scratch.

This trade makes more sense in two years when the Sens don’t mind paying for extra depth.

Caps pass on all of that. Isn't worth making room for Hoffman who is basically a PP specialist.

Maybe before the Galchenyuk signing but our NHL roster is set now, and Peca's just gonna be an AHLer we bury, so even though Panik's the better player there's not really a point for Ottawa to do this

pretty hard to move all 3 of those guys.
The bottom 6 in WSH is just as sad as the bottom 6 in PIT.
Aside from Eller there isn't a player there worth a damn.

Detroit is set on bottom six forwards so pass on Hagelin. If you want to free up some cap space we will take Vrana for cheap
