Thanks for the feedback. I don't really agree with your take on Tavares cuz personally, I think he's done a phenomenal job since joining the Leafs. In 2018/19, he played at the level of a top 5 center in the league. He was very good again this season in terms of driving offence, but his low shooting percentage caused him to go under a point per game. I think he doesn't stand out to a lot of people cuz his skating is not particularly impressive & he doesn't contribute defensively, but he's actually extremely effective at generating scoring chances. I honestly dont think Tavares belongs anymore, hes just not elite like he used to be.

I mean in the last two years he has 8 points more than Toews...far better winger linemates in Marner (Toews doesn't really play with Kane) worse at the dot...worse defensively...somehow larger contract...and Toews isn't on the team. I hear ya and the margins are really small,, but there's more than just being on an offensively strong team. Is see the time vs elite two seasons ago, but what was it last year? I thought teams mostly focused on the better center...Matthews...

I think you’re being a little harsh. Only last season his performance was below his usual standards. The season before he was sensational & all his other seasons were elite. He can very easily bounce back, especially if he plays with Nylander.

Some lineup changes but I don’t disagree with any of your picks (as in none are far fetched). Scheifele definitely plays over laf, hall, and even point (though it’s very close there). Marner is also a good chance to make this team. Especially over stammer

There may be better players in 2020 but I think you did just fine.

He’s top 20 right now, by 2022, he probably won’t even be top 40. If they really value leadership they can just bring in doughty. Weber has a 0% chance at making it

honestly, he's already in decline you can see that in his numbers. His age is up there, 2 more years...nope he won't be there.

He Had 2 great series and a good season.. There's honestly no argument that he'll be on the team, last season he had a .910 SP and the year before a .918 SP on bad teams - Binnington has had one good year and even Carter Hart isn't proven although im a big fan.

he had a 0.909 last year. Spare me the "bad team" nonsense. He didn't have a good team in front of him in his .92+ years, which actually got him on the team.
We won't be there. The play is in decline. He'll be damn near 35 years old. They will go with a younger goalie. They have plenty of choices.
Kuemper comes to mind as probably the guy who gets his spot.
