I may be dating myself a bit but he was before my time (as a hockey fan anyway), but he probably should be on there

Lol.. the last time the Leafs traded the Pens a fast player that was kind of a D*ck he ended up eating hot dogs out of the Stanley Cup!! Twice!! Lol.

I guess we’ll see how Kappy does this year though!!

Although I’m also a big fan of what the leafs did in the offseason!! Last year, their defense was bad, they weren’t tough on or off the puck, and no leadership, and had very poor NHL caliber depth. Check, Check, check, check.

Thornton, Simmons, Vesey, Bogs, u really can’t get any tougher. And great NHL caliber depth now. And deep on defensive too. As long as, Lehtonen works out, and J.Holl plays like last year or similar, and Dermott plays like 18-19 or similar. The Sophomore slump is real!! Lol. And Bogs is only 30 years old, by no means ancient. And Hopefully Sandin and Liljegreen take more steps in the right direction.

And Thornton, Simmons, Bogs, Speeza are gonna have a huge impact on that locker room. No longer all kids and all peers in there. its why I think Kappy will score 20 plus and play well in Pgh. He’s coming into a locker room full of adults with SId, Geno and Letang. No longer all kids and his peers. It’s why most players change when they come to Pgh. They want to prove they belong and respect Sid, Geno, and Letang. They know they won’t put up with not working hard and not doing sh*t the right way. Same as how Thornton, Simmons and Bogs will change Toronto’s locker room and culture.

But we’ll see with Kappy. I’m excited to see the Guentzel/Sid/Kappy line. Fast man!!

Thanks for recognizing Wagner who is probably the fastest player in the NHL, but we'll never know because he'll never be an All-Star.
