Wings pass this isn't even close. Rasmussen is better then engvall already. 0% chance of this trade considering we wouldn't even trade a 5th for him straight up

    It’s a woulda-coulda lottery draft exercise.

Doesn’t need to include Rasmussen (and becomes laughable with that offer)

Engvall is underrated but for a 9th overall pick?

Maybe a misclick for Dennis Rasmussen or like?

    Ending sentences with a ?

Not on topic but how does winning the lottery change the Brodie signing?

misclick. Meant to be Hirose. Was really just looking for a 4th line energy FWD, doesn't have to be Hirose if you don't like that

I just think they do different things with the team. And I needed the extra cap space.

Realistically speaking it probably doesn't because they probably wouldn't OS Cirelli. Imagine if they did tho... Cirelli might sign it too because he's from the greater Toronto area

The roster wouldn't have been much different than the one they have currently. It'd just mean Robertson would probably be back in the OHL for another year.

The funniest part (or saddest, depending upon one’s perspective) is that even in their current sad state the Wings will probably win another Cup before the Leafs do.

No, the funniest part is that rival fans have literally one joke that they use the moment a Leafs fan points out a flaw in a their team or player and think it means they won an internet or something

Draft luck works out like that sometimes. Datsyuk: 171 overall.

Yup he is, will have a better career then that ahl guy. Ras was too good for juniors and he couldn't be sent down to minors in his first year. He had a good year last year in the ahl and will build on that, he's worth 5 thousand times scrubby engvall. Sorry bub you can keep that guy, we will never want your castaways that stink. We building right, not taking shortcuts like your team did

riiiiiiiiight, I mean, one guy is the "AHL" guy right now and the other was in the NHL last season, but sure thing! Enjoy your guy who might be a 3rd liner like Engvall one day

Apparently completely bottoming out for like 5 years is "building right"

Also apparently "taking shortcuts" is when good players actually want to sign with you.

Think we need a pocket dimension where this guy and Jared can go at it for eternity.
