Columbus, I am sorry PLD wants out... but would you consider Nylander swap?

I think Dubois would play W along side JT, or JT would play alongside PLD... He is a beast.

Trading a young, promising center for the same in a winger is always a downgrade just because of the positions they play -- the team trading the winger would need to add. And at that point, it's not worth it for TOR.

The grit shown by PLD and the lack of grit shown by Willy in the playoffs is why I'd do this deal... Willy wants to be a C anyway... He only went to the wing when they signed JT

I'd wager they would use Nylander at centre which is his natural position, he just is more valuable in TO playing with Matthews or JT.b

Willy is one of the best cycle players on the Leafs. He just doesn't hit people and that is why cement heads say he has no grit.
