I think everyone knows what Lou is - great president of hockey ops, average GM at best. It doesn’t get talked about enough how much trotz holds this team back with his lineup decisions. Lou isn’t forcing trotz to play Ross johnston and shelter kieffer bellows.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but Leddy has had an excellent start to the season. Driving play really well and playing decent defense too. Probably gonna regress to the mean as this season goes on, but I wouldn't want him coming out of the lineup just yet.

That said, I'd love Dermott. Dump Greene for him

I’d like to see the Leafs actually give him a shot. But with Brodie, Muzzin, Rielly, Holl all playing well I just don’t see it unfortunately. IMO Dermott needs top 4 min and could really break out. He needs a new team

The only way to build a winner is by signing guys to massive term into their 30's that will undoubtedly handcuff the team. It's the only way.
