Dahlin Dream

Created by: Canucks33
Team: 2021-22 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 30, 2021
Published: Jan. 30, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Dahlin requests a trade to play with Pettersson, who he said he wanted to play with in his draft. A lot needs to go right, but I think this team is pretty good and not in cap trouble next year.

They don't have that much leverage, Dahlin holds out and only demands Vancouver

    That’s a good offer tho
It’s not like Roussel or Beagle were involved
BUF might accept if the situation ( very unlikely ) happen, it’s a honest offer

Do you think VAN would trade Hughes for that package?

What like Cozens + 2 first + Pilut + another roster player for Hugues. Looks like an overpay

If you want OTT to take on $8.5 in cap, and $7M in real salary, Virtanen better start playing lights out in a hurry otherwise you'll need to add Jett Woo to that deal.

Dahlin isn't that desperate to go to Vancouver. I don't think any nhl player would be that demanding to go to a certain nhl team

That Van offer is not great - The Bills Mafia would take the Pegula's table shopping.

Woo kinda sucks lol then again this is a team that signs Gudbransson and Coburn. Ottawa would be more desperate to take Eriksson with the lower salary to cap hit

NO TEAM is desperate to take Eriksson, or ANY player that'll cost them $4M ($6M cap) and be a healthy scratch. LOL. And Woo is just 20 years old. Might be a LITTLE EARLY to write him off. He skates well and plays a physical game. Probably ends up as a solid 2nd pairing guy or VERY solid bottom pairing. Either way, MY POINT is Vancouver is not offering enough for Ottawa to bite unless Virtanen suddenly plays his way into their top 6.

First off you're not even close there to getting Rasmus Dahlin, And secondly what are you going to do when Pettersson, Hughes and Dahlin all command $10 million + long term on their next contracts?
