The way I look at it is that regardless I think the Bruins will have a defenseman taken in the expansion draft with the play of lauzon and especially Zboril who looks fantastic I think adding Dunn would solve the Bruins problem of losing a dman in the expansion draft

27 year old dman who can run a PP and under contact for 3 more seasons at under 4 million, I don’t think there would be many defenseman like that exposed to Seattle

I'm not saying they won't consider him. He can play hockey. I just think they're gonna scout all year and figure out how to build a team that Francis thinks can win. But behind all the other offensive defensemen in Boston the last few years, I didn't honestly think of Grzelczyk as a power play guy.

It's only really a rumor. look at last night like I said before Berube did the same thing with Perron in 2019 benched him got a chip on his shoulder, set him up in a different perspective and he hasn't looked back since they did it with Thomas too. Dunn just sat a couple games, and now he scored a goal last night and he looked really good, and Berube after the game said he was happy with his play. I doubt he gets traded everyone wants to say because he's benched he's worth a 6th round pick, and Blues don't want him anymore. That could never be any less true.

Dunn is better but the gap isn't that big imo

If grzelcyk is available there is zero question that Seattle takes him.

What you’re asking is if it’s worth losing grzelcyk and a first to acquire Dunn, and that is the quickest, easiest, no.

He’s the bruins top powerplay guy. Bruins powerplay is pretty good usually.

Totally agree w Bcarlo25. No matter WHO you lose to Seattle it's still going to be 2 assets gone to acquire Dunn in the end. I don't believe Dunn makes Boston any better. Save the first and hit on it.
