As a rebuilding team you want reclamation guys, but you also don't do it at the expense of character guys with experience. I think they are far more valuable in the development of the young guns in comparison to the baggage that Tony D brings

I'm assuming for the same reason people think adding Zetterberg gives them an extra $6M in cap space. They don't understand the rules.

No reason for the Sharks to do that. Plus neither of those players are reclamation projects. If Dahlen isn’t ready now, he’ll quite simply never be. And Sorensen is already an okay bottom 6 player. There’s not much left there to get out of them.
