You don't want to hear the real asking price.. It'll never happen! Actually in 3 years when his end is coming close he will be dealt 100%

Zibanejad is on a 5 goal, 15 point pace and has one year left on his contract. Seems good...

Right now, BUF fans be like... "Laf, Kak, Fox, Shest, Miller, 2 1sts and whatever you got in your wallet"

The price in a few years won't be so bad...

I look at it like this: You're only giving up 1 year of Zibanejad, and following it up by adding mid-tiered prospects, plus 1st round picks.

IMO, unless that 2021 1st is like top 3, there's no way Eichel gets to the Rags moved without one of Laffy/Kakko/Fox headlining, which isn't likely something that Rangers fans are going to agree with.

Lundkvist is not a mid-tiered prospect, and fox is literally untouchable, even in an eichel trade

But that's the thing...Eichel is literally untouchable, which makes this weekly exercise that much more unbearable.

Eichel no longer becomes untouchable when he demands out as has been said is a real possibility by the top insiders in the industry. Way too much smoke to be no fire.

Ur getting a 1C in his prime, a borderline blue chip D prospect, a potential top 10 pick, another pick, and a mid tier D prospect

this dude gets it. any eichel deal would have to include fox laffy or kakko, chytil, miller, one of lundkvist/kravy, and a couple firsts. we're much better off with the assets which is why i hate people constantly talking about this trade

if that happens we're still gonna have to compete with offers from teams like vgk for instance whos top offer would be healined by krebs and glass, would probably include a hague or dugan plus firsts, the price would still be astronomical

And you're getting Jack Eichel. I'm always confused about why people are like "Holy crap I really want to get this guy!" but then are super surprised when someone gives them a logical asking price.

Like, look at a guy like Fox...you guys love him. He's young, versatile, already elite and only getting better...Think about what kind of a package you'd want for him, then compare it to what you're offering here for Eichel...You wouldn't accept it for him, which means you're not even close for Eichel.

He's under contract for 5 more years after this season...he stays untouchable until Buffalo says "Sure, we'll trade him!", at which point just about every team in the league comes calling.

Rangers need to get more depth next offseason. Kakko hasn’t had the best linemates.

He has improved from last year but it's a slow progress, Laf will be faster, Buch was slow but finally here, Chytil too. Hopefully Krav can jump right in next year.

Cozens has looked solid for you guys! Love Olof too. Dahlin seems off this year??

Yeah Dahlin hasn’t really been the same since his rookie year. Phil Housley let him play. Since Krueger took over they put handcuffs on him and bench him after mistakes. Also outside of his rookie year he hasn’t had a reliable RD to play with, him and Bogosian were really good together in 18-19

Ahh that could be the problem. Well they better figure it out quick because that is a waste to have that talent and not let him grow and gain confidence
