I would think a Yes from VGK if they can figure out the cap before the deal happens.

Vegas would definitely do this. Moving Mcnabb may be enough to clear the cap and the Vegas defense has proven it can hold up without him. Heck, Mcnabb could even be going the other way in this deal.

The blues want none of that. We're set on wingers and centers. We're not giving up to good picks and kostin for a rental player that's not going to put a dent in getting us back to the cup

Moving McNabb isn’t enough. Even with him on LTIR they don’t have the money. They probably need to move both him and carrier for instance.

They currently have 1.9 million in space with McNabb on LTIR and only 5 dmen.
