Canes aren’t retaining 2 million for that long. We couldn’t replace Skjei for under 3.25 million for 4 years.

The cost for Dumba would be Newhook, so I don't think Colorado would do that.

Some of those are playoff teams too, they may add and not trade away defensman. Savard seems a good idda, ekholm maybe

not one of those Dmen are realistic targets

plus we cant protect graves in the expansion draft? Avs arent protecting him regardless, there is no way he will be protected over Toews Girard or Makar and avs wont be getting EJ to waive his NMC just to protect 4 Dmen

Kinda pointless to get a D man with term right before the expansion draft. Savard is the only somewhat reasonable target here imo

Surely you must realize that the Blues aren't helping Colorado. Even if Dunn was available (he's not), there's no chance they send him to a rival.

Minnesota and St Louis won't trade Dmen to Colorado as one of them will likely face Colorado in the 1st round.

Dmen with term aren't feasible either given the expansion draft.

Savard would be a really nice fit though, depending on price.
