I could see your trade suggestion underneath of "Turcotte + Anderson + Kempe + both 2nds from this year" working out.

The 8 piece trade as listed is bonkers.

If Turcs was on the table then Turcotte and a pick, maybe a roster player would be close. Moving Werensiki doesn’t make sense anyway you look at it.

That package in the trade details is about as much as you will possibly get.. even that seems a bit high.

No he heard it from that crazy old dude from the 4th period who also covers the Kings. Think he also said they should target Dahlin or Chychrun as well.

Edit - he also said they should target Forsberg from NSH

Turcotte plus Iafallo plus Anderson or Clague plus this year's first-round draft pick is what a national hockey writer suggested should be the price for Jack Eichel. (Personally, I'd offer more, but there it is.)

For Werenski it would be Byfield, Anderson-Dolan, and LA 2nd round pick 21. If no Byfield then Turcotte, Anderson-Dolan, Tyler Madden, and LA 21 1st round pick

So what you're saying is that Werenski will not be traded.

No, what I am saying is the Jackets are not going to give him away and they HAVE to get value because of this Anderson-Domi trade.

I will grant that Werenski is an upgrade over Anderson. There is no way he’s that much better. This kind of package should return Hedman.

If this is the price they're looking for, then Werenski will not be traded.
