The title did not disappoint. I'm surprised there's no trade to Toronto though. It's hard to believe Buffalo's rebuild started at about the same time as the Leafs.

Kings are not going to be buyers at the deadline so they are not giving up a 1st and 3rd for Hall.

Flyers need D more than C so they likely pass

Because that destroys the offense. Sabres already have a possible franchise dman, no need to trade a franchise center for one.

Can't win when your starting goalie, top 4 dman, franchise center gets hurt and your coach bottlenecks any offensive talent.

Trading a franchise center also doesn't help win.

Is that why Eichel hasn't made the playoffs in the last 6 years? He's going to want out. I think the writing is on the wall.

I personally think a solid rebuild too. A better rounded team not based on one person. It's like Buffalo keeps bring in random players and it just never works.

Eichel can't wait much longer. Especially with other guys at least making the playoffs. He years away from having a chance and it's no guarantee. I can't imagine he waits much longer.

Edmonton has 4 NHL RHD so they aren't really interested in Montour - but at that price I'm buying all day long, need or not.
