The cap would be closer as it is done daily. Move a defender down to the taxi squad too

Yeah MTL have enough cap space like @ecupirate07 said + we are saving a lot with Byron being sent on the Taxi Squad daily

IMHO Habs dont need Ekholm. They have less good versions of him already in Chiarot and Edmunson.

They need a player like Josi on their left side. They only have 1 good offensive skating dman in Petry. They need another one of those.

FWIW, Vingan wanted the 1st, Lehkonen, Mete, and one of either Tuch or Struble, which is worse than what Godin was offering. Vingan is terrible at hypothetical trades.

Zach Hyman is closer to Gallagher than Lehkonen is to Hyman. I would take Hyman over Lehkonen any day of the week.

yes of course me too, but is style is more similar to Hyman than Gallagher because they are an edge over Gallagher defensively
