Beaudin is better than Sandin, and Hallander is a nothing prospect at this point. Can get better for Kubs at half retained.

Is it that you think Kubalik should cost Kerfoot plus a second?

Okay. I'll bite on that deal. Soderberg can help now for a playoff run, Neal off the books helps sign a good winger/trade for an expensive goalie this summer. Worth it for what is likely a later first. If things go badly where it ends up being an earlier first, well, Oil will probably be trading good players off for another 1st at that point anyway.

The only change I've heard is that Stan's come out and said "Toews isn't done with hockey for good." I'm not sure what EXACTLY that means, but that's what I've heard.

Everyone’s got VAN trading Eriksson with a first, I HIGHLY doubt that is happening.
Eriksson has one year left after this season with very little actual $ owning.

The Canucks are not a playoff team this year, and IF they are next year they won’t be contenders.

Why would a team who’s prospect cupboard is going to be bare next year after their remaining top prospects graduate to the NHL, and who likely won’t make the playoffs next year, trade what is likely going to be a fairly high 1st round pick (possibly a lottery pick) to get rid of a player who is owed very little actual dollars during a global recession and only has one year left on his contract?

Leafs decline easily. They aren't trading Sandin while they aren't sure what's going on with Rielly.
