Teams play dirtier when they get away with it, I think a lot of problems can be solved if the refs were held accountable for poor decision making.

With that f***ing completely garbage hit Murphy put on Cernak earlier this season. Hawks fan crying about a hit is hysterical!!!

Murphy hit Cernak square in the chest, not in the head. If he did hit Cernak in the head at all, it was incidental, plus his head is down. Murphy is like 6'5, so every hit he makes is going to be high.

Kubalik didn't even have the puck and Schenn laid a late hit, targeting him with his elbow to the head, which could've resulting in a serious head injury

Complain all you want about Murphy, but Tampa is a lot more dirtier and doesn't change the fact that he targeted Kubalik head with his elbow. Cernak went after rookies and young players tonight, and now because of him Adam Boqvist broke his wrist.

Schenn was dirty..boqvust is unfortunate but that was clean. And i am sorry that Murphy hit earlier this year was as much garbage as Schenn tonight.

No it wasn't, Murphy made contact with Cernaks chest and if he made contact with the head it was incidental due to Murphy initially making contact with his chest. and again Murphy is like 6'5, so every hit he makes is going to be high, Cernak head was down in the play making things worse but the fact is Murphy wasn't targeting his head and didn't even deserve a match penalty.

Schenn targeted Kubalik (Who didn't even have the puck) head with his elbow and made no intention of hitting his chest.

You seem like a very reasonable and rational person.

If Cernak stayed skating normally...thats a hit to the chest. He did his best lindros impression and never looked around at anything else going on. With that said...I 100% agree the match penalty was due because the responsibility falls on the guy doing the hitting, but a shoulder intended for the chest (with his elbows down LOW!) is VERY different that elbows up high to the head. No normal play in hockey requires a players elbows to be that high. Schenn deserves a response, but he unfortunately won't get it. I give TBL credit for sticking up for their guy, but very different Situations. The Hawks won't respond like they should.

If someone has an intent of injuring me I am going to injure them if that isn't rational to you so be it , however it's quite rational Murphy's hit there's an intent to injure and he on multiple times refused to face the consequences of his actions so yes if i were Cernak when he finally had no choice yes i would have hurt him.
Btw Schenn deserves 2 games as did Murphy
