Gaudreau has agreed to a contract extension with Philly.

This trade is dependent on a lot of things.
1. Will Beagle and Eriksson waive their no moves.
2. Are the Canucks willing to part ways with Boeser, I think they are given the rumours that came out last year about them potentially wanting to move him.
3. What would the Canucks want in return, I went with a second to not take up any cap space, but I have no idea if that would be enough or what they would want back in this situation.
4. I think this trade would make a bunch of sense for Calgary because both Beagle and Eriksson expire the summer all of the other RFAs I acquired expire, so it would give the Flames ample cap space to work with to re-sign their guys.

I have no idea if this would be enough to offload Lucic's contract, but just assume it's draft picks going to Seattle from Calgary.

If the Flames are going full tank, having a good goalie, who's on the wrong side of 30, signed long term when you're not going to be overly competitive doesn't really make a ton of sense.

Markström would probably waive his NMC for this because he'd be going to one of the best teams in the league.

Carolina would be getting a sure thing starting goalie who's locked up long term on top of Nedeljkovic, who's had a good season, but isn't guaranteed to continue that success. If he does continue that success, however, they automatically have the best tandem in the league.

The value might be a bit off on this deal, but something along the lines of a couple of good prospects for Markström is what I was aiming for,

I don't think it would cost very much to get Korpisalo because of the risk of him being taken in the expansion draft. It might require a bit more from the Flames, but I don't think it'd be too outrageous. Korpisalo would fit the Flames timeline fairly well and is a decent goalie who's had a poor year.
