Driedger is a UFA, and all the other trades except the one with Winnipeg are not benefiting Buffalo very much at all.

No from LA. There's no way you're getting both of Turcotte and Vilardi.

You're crazy for not taking that offer lmao. Getting not just Eichel but Olofsson and not even giving up Byfield?? overvaluing Turcotte and Vilardi imo

Byfield isn't being traded. If that's the cost, Buffalo can keep both Olofsson and Eichel.

Both of them playing together is obviously doing wonders for the Sabres.

Turcotte, Kaliyev, and Vilardi are all top-5 prospects for the Kings who might be too much for a team, The Kings will offer something like: Turcotte, One High-Level Prospect (Thomas, Madden, JAD), One NHLer (Walker, Athanasiou, Grundstrom, or Wagner), a 2022 - 1st, and 2021 - 2nd. I understand that Eichel is worth quite a bit, but his injury (wishes to see his own doctors), his comments about management, and failure to reach the playoffs as the cornerstone of the franchise has his value at rock bottom, if another team can beat this offer (they probably can) and I think the Sabres should take it, but very few teams have both a top center prospect and $10M in cap space during a flat cap to facilitate this trade right now.

And if they don't get him, sabres should hang up and move on from LA's offer

I agree. They absolutely should. I put the probability that Eichel is traded to LA at about 5%.

Yeah the kings sure were such a dominant team unlike buffalo right? Lol it's not entirely fair to blame an entire teams struggles on one who was injured most the year and Olofsson

No, just aware of how few teams are in the position (cap space and asset wise) to obtain a player who might request a trade any day now. I don't think the Kings, Rangers, or Coyotes are willing to pay what you may think Eichel is worth.

Vilardi was a rookie this season, Turcotte hasn't even played a single game in the NHL. Both players are on ELCs and have a combined cap hit of $1.8M. Neither have reached anywhere near their full potential.

Eichel and Olofsson have a combined cap hit over $13M and have already reached the age where NHL players generally reach their full potential (age 24). They've missed out on the best years of both players, but have to pay them significantly more money anyway.

No thanks.

Any trade for Jack Eichel is going to be for Eichel alone -- why in the world would we swap wingers back and forth?

All of us reasonable Buffalo and Los Angeles fans have agreed to disagree: LA isn't going to be paying the price you guys hope for, especially this off-season before anyone has a chance to see how Eichel has recovered from his injury.

Let's all stop with these Eichel exchanges until the trade deadline. Playing in our division, I'll bet we'll be buyers and you'll be sellers.

You may want to switch the season to 2021-22. Stastny is UFA this summer.

I'm not the type of person who think Eichel is getting Byfield, Turcotte, Vilardi, and 3 1sts. However, if the Kings aren't going to offer a player who has maybe a 20% chance at being as good or better than Eichel (Byfield), Sabres have no obligation to make a trade with LA and should hang up the phone
