I mean Larkin doesn't make much sense as a target because of the lack of team-control.

laugh laugh Larkin > > Chytil who's basically a 3C Lundkvist is the only decent piece of the deal. It's basically Chytil+Lundkvist+Rangers 2021 1st round pick 16OA for Larkin and Georgiev for Detroit's 2021 1st round pick 6OA Dude you're not even close here. Georgiev for our 6th overall pick is what's got me laugh laugh

Didnt they just put up identical numbers? One doing so as a 3rd liner?

Honestly, the value is fine on value alone, but Detroit is not trading Larkin.

Dude the values not even close, Larkin > Chytil+Lunkvist+Rangers 2021 1st round pick 16OA. And this guy honestly thinks that Georgiev is basically worth a top 6 pick. Because that's basically what it comes down to. Seider is better then Lunkvist as we was just named SHL Defenseman of the year. This trade is atrocious for us.

Wow abysmal down year for Larkin who lost his top scorer in Bertuzzi early on. Plus Mantha sucked Fabbri got injured and Zadina is still learning. Dylan Larkin first 2 years 77 points > > > Filip Chytil's first 2 seasons 45 points. Chytils basically 3 seasons all around 22 points per so yeah that's 3C territory slick.

Hard pass from Detroit.

Are you saying Larkin is soft? Good luck finding a Tom Wilson center.

Dylan Larkin is neither a soft center, nor comparable to Filip Chytil.

Chytil was hurt, played 7 minutes less a game, and got no PP time.

Your turn for excuses.

He certainly isnt fixing the Rangers center issue.

Hey, if your 3C is comparable to Larkin...you don't have any center issues.

Yeah, maybe... that's not saying much.
Again, he doesn't fix the Rangers issues. It's not a trade either team should explore.

Easily Larkin missed 12 games and was basically playing the 2nd PP unit. Plus Larkin was basically playing hurt at the start of the season. He even said as much 2 days ago at his season ending presser. But you're totally delusional if you think that Chytil is anywhere close to Larkin. 3 full season Larkin had 45+32+63 points 140 points his first 3 years Chytil 23+23+22 68 points in the same period. Sorry slick no contest.

I totally agree neither should explore this trade, Detroit definitely turns it down Chytil is a major downgrade compared to Larkin. And Detroit has a comparable RD to Lundkvist in Seider. This trade doesn't even get Larkin let alone Detroit adding the best pick in the deal at 6th overall.

I didn't see the Detroit pick going back, I thought it was Larkin straight up.
