Jack to the Wild

Team: 2021-22 Buffalo Sabres
Initial Creation Date: May 23, 2021
Published: May 23, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I made a deal for Jack to the Wild earlier. I’m basing this Sabres off-season off that deal. I’m not a Sabres fan. I’m just playing fantasy GM. If you don’t like what I do feel free to complain (I know it’s capfriendly someone will whine). The created players are predicted first rounders

I think if you switch one of the firsts and the second to Dumba it's a fair trade.

Minnesota declined very easily. Wild aren't going to trade bith matt boldy, & fiala together, just not happening

Wild don't have the cap room to take on eichel in these proposal

Caps decline. Dillon isn’t a cap dump. He has value. If nobody wants him, we’ll hold onto him and be just fine. Vanecek isn’t going anywhere unless it’s for something valuable.

I agree. Maybe if the prospects they offered weren’t 25 and 26 and actually good I would say yes but unfortunately he has the capitals giving up good players with value and paying Buffalo and getting nothing of value in return. Hard pass

Blues decline. Think they'd rather hold onto Neighbors and their first than have Reinhart.

NSH isn’t trading Sissons, and he’s not a cap dump. Sorry, but this trade makes zero sense.

Is there a 2nd Philip Nyberg who's good at hockey, that I haven't heard of?

He’s a bottom line player on a stupid deal. Keep him if you want but what a waste

Of course a Pens fan would think that - they don't disallow all his goals in any of the other NHL cities though wink

If the Sabres did pony up a 2nd and 3rd for Dillon, his numbers from this year put him third in points on the above blue line, as well as 1st in plus/minus and 2nd in hits on the whole team. So a healthy scratch role seems far-fetched. You wanna have McDavid in the press box, too? A more likely spot for Dillon on the Sabres might be 2LD behind Dahlin. Or 1LD if Dahlin plays his off side for one timers.

OK.... weird that a PIT fan would have less of a sense of humour about that series than a NSH fan, considering your team won it. Not sure where that hostility is coming from, but for what it's worth I'm actually a Canadian who's been going to games since before you were born - not a newbie, nor a Nashvillian. Just so you can be more accurate with your stereotypes. And more of a Run the Jewels fan too, if that helps.

"my trade is being challenged -- better throw insults..."

Smashing cars and listening to Carrie Underwood? Sounds like a good time to me.

It's not as snappy as "Fish Throwing Morons", but if you ask nicely these guys might put that on a shirt for you.
