Palat gee a cup contender, Or waive for a team that just got swept in the first round of the playoffs. Yeah Palat isn't waiving for Edmonton.

Palat's contract becomes a modified NTC this summer. Has to submit a 20 team trade list.

Probably an overpay by the oilers Broberg and a 2nd or 3rd I'd imagine would be enough but decided to just throw the 1st in for the sake of it.

Think value in NJ trade is pretty fair; just think we look for someone who could put up a little more offense from the backend

It's possible but who knows really. I think it's realistic enough that he'd be okay going to EDM. Gets to continue playing with elite talent to cash in after the season when his contract is up.

No chance the leafs even consider that for kerfoot. They got a 1st + for kapanen, and kerfoot is better, and is also a Centre.

I always see him being used as basically a camp dump on here. That's okay though could go after Wennberg in free agency for similar amount.

Yeah, Kerfoot will be the first to go before any of the big 4 go, and they got Hallander in the Kapanen deal, so I think the plan is to replace Kerfoot for less than 1 mil for a 2.5m savings
