Marino would cost more

All I can say is yikes for these trades

Chance of the Sabres trading Eichel to a division rival are slim to none

And especially not for that package- would take MUCH more

The idea that the Sharks have to give up a 1st to get rid of Jones, but the Sabres would simply be able to swap him for Jarry, is hilarious.

I do sometimes wonder if Risto could be a better version of himself in Dallas. Strong defensive structure, lots of forward support, play with Miro.... that said, you aren’t getting a first and a second for him. Buffalo should have traded him back when nobody realized how not good he is

Realistic? My god this is unrealistic as it gets.
First off, 4 years for dahlin takes him direct to UFA without buying out any UFA years, which just isn’t a thing that happens in the NHL. So that’s the one term they’re guaranteed to not give him.
Middelstadt doesnt get one first round pick, let alone two.
Risto doesn’t get anything close to that.
