I wouldn't say Markstrom is overrated, he was overplayed and burnt out as a result. He played very well at the beginning and at the end of the season, when he wasn't playing like 11 games per week.

I agree with this but I just had to choose one. I don’t really think there are too many overrated goalies.

He’s not as good as people make him out to be, especially habs fans. He’s fast, can shoot, and can hit. That’s about it.

I agree he’s very valuable and a huge part of that team, he’s just not a super skilled guy to me or a superstar like people call him.

He lead the league in hits and was 2nd only behind only Matthews in shots this year. 7.7 s% is very unrealistic for him to keep as a career average, I can definitely see him being a multi time 40 goal scorer once he has legitimate teammates (I say this partially because most of them are still developing). Brady Tkachuk just oozes superstar potential

He never passes and doesn’t have a great hockey iq, and does not do defence. Even with his shot which isn’t that good, he doesn’t even have that many goals or points. Spezza had more this season 😂
