More story time because why not:

1. I have a fall birthday, so pretty much every year I go to the opening night game as a birthday gift. 4 years ago in the 17-18 season we played the Wild in our home opener and I found some cheap club level seats which is near all of the booths and where you may run into someone famous. As my family and I were walking to our seats before the game Ron Francis all of a sudden popped up behind us. I got a picture with him and told him this game was for my birthday then he pulled a pre-signed puck right out of his pocket and gave it to me. So do some of these guys just walk around with pucks in their pockets to give to fans that they see? Anyways it was a pretty nice game and we had a sick view. In the intermission we ran into Erik Cole in the concourse and I got a picture with him. Super nice dude. I can still recall that the game went great and we won in shootout with a goal by Jaccob Slavin.

2. One time I got the chance to go to a Canes practice back at our old practice facility in Raleigh. Was pretty cool to see some of the players up close and afterwards I got to get my Hurricanes yearbook signed by pretty much the whole team. At the time Victor Rask was my favorite player on the team and it was super cool getting to meet him in person. Great gentleman.
