That package doesnt come anywhere close to McDavid so why are you bringing him up?

For starters Tkachuk isnt for sale (unless you are offering a true 1C. Secondly Calgary isn't rebuilding and if they were they wouldn't trade their 23yo soon-to-be captain. Thirdly you dont get a yop 10 LW for middle 6 players and a mid/late first

Doubtful Columbus accepts, don’t see them moving 5th OA for anything, unless it is involved for a number one center. Tbh the last time a top 5 pick was traded was in 2007, the trade was 5th OA for 7th OA, a 3rd in that draft and a 2nd in the next draft. That was to move up 2 spots, not 10.

Knew it would be a stretch but didn’t see many other options to trade up. See them drafting a center there. Big hole left losing PLD. Tough place to get a top ufa center to sign at. Might need to cut losses on Laine or move Jones for a top center

Jones will be traded at the draft, and I’m not opposed to moving Laine and Werenski to start a complete rebuild, but I also don’t see Jarmo doing that.
