Bruins easily decline,

I really dont see the value in ekholm being the same as it was last season, a large part of why he was comanding such high value was that he was signed for the playoff run after the deadline and this upcoming season, now hes just a rental and thats far too high a price

You can find another team to trade with if that's the price for Ekholm.

I'm a Ranger fan, and even I know we can offer you more for Forsberg.

My logic is that the contract and lack of defence on Boston might garner that high value but i could see the 2021 first rounder being swapped out for a second/ lower level prospect and a later round pick. I just think boston would be willing to pay this price as there cup window is coming to an end and are desperate

I understand what you're saying but where its a trade deadline deal probable rental i thought what the rangers are giving up is fair value the most i could see being added is a second or third rounder

Even then, not sure Rangers would make the move.

Forsberg is obviously no slouch. But Rangers are relatively set at either Wing. Any Picks or Prospects getting moved will be for a Center upgrade.

I think pretty much everyone is going to tell you the same thing: Ekholm doesn’t have anywhere near that kind of value. Start with cutting it in half

That’s just not what the NHL market is. First + a kicker what he’ll get as a rental.

Oilers decline based on the Oilers needs, and it needs that 1st for better players than Järnkrok.

Oilers decline, Järnkrok is a pending ufa and he’s brutal in the dot, he’s not worth a first and a prospect

Only NYR say yes. But maybe NO because that’s not even fair.
