    Other than the fact Parise probably doesn't waive for Detroit, I think they would need more for compensation. Me personally wouldn't take anything less than Rossi or Boldy as a starting point.

    looking at the immediate benefit for the Wild i can 100% see why the Wild would do this... They get a massive upgrade at 1c.. EK is at best a 2c but imo would best be utilized as an amazing shutdown 3c.Cpaitals get a 2RSD with a big caphit. Also not taking a shot at EK but his strengths are defense

    The cap hit on the buyout is a non-starter. Your team is not willing to give up the assets necessary to dump that contract.
