So if you want to send JVR or any other contract to Detroit, it has to be with assets. Send a prospect, or picks, but dont ask Detroit for 2 picks and only provide them with JVR. Its a NO.

Also your Seattle plan is garb... they would keep salary on Tarasenko AND take Voraceks contract? Francis must have found the good stuff to smoke up in Seattle... Sorry, Wings using cap to help team, not take on 14 million dollar cap dumps. Leddy was a position of need as we had no LHD after Staal contract was up. Leddy is a good 30 year old offensive defensman who is on a 1 year deal. JVR has two years at 7 million and is not producing like a players with that kind of contract.

Again Yzerman likes flexibility and this eats into that flexibility and blocks team from seeing younger pl layers.

You’d have to give assets with JVR, not get anything back. Seattle isn’t retaining on top of taking Voracek unless you add way more to that trade. Coleman and Olek get 1.5 more each.

I don't know where you got that from but Yzerman has yet to take on a cap dump. Now I know most Detroit fans on this site me included would like to see him take on some cap dumps but I wouldn't hold my breath while waiting for him to do so.

Detroit declines for the following reasons.

1. This is a cap dump, you pay for dumps not get paid.
2. Detroit is full on LW already with Vrána, Fabbri, Raymond, Svechnikov, Smith.
3. JvR is a player that doesn't help the team long term.

no way seattle would do that keeping 3 mil, and im not giving up 13oa for risto, im all for moving it but make it make sense. throw reinhart in the deal and tk and id consider it if they take the ghost $ as well. im not as down on risto as most cuz buffalo is just absolute garbage. that would save us money for a larsson too. which would make it prov-ellis, sanheim- larsson, york- risto with braun as 7d which would be fantastic for hart
